Non Stop Band- a performance band and studio project, circa 1980-90, which focused on original compositions of John L Holmes and Mike Friedman, as well as selected jazz and latin standards.

Hooves was strictly a recording project between Paul Noel and John L Holmes. The recordings took place in Honolulu Hi. and Walla Walla, Wa. during the 1980's. The personnel varied but they were all residents of Hawaii. Special thanks to Louis Dimitri whose bass magic kept us rolling.

Jazzmen Tea was a performance and recording group which focused exclusively on "words and music." It began as a duet with poet Larry Leier and John L Holmes in the early 80's. It became a quartet with John Klapp and Jack Larson on bass and drums respectively.
